Ten Maritime Malaysia Pilots And Crewmen Become Certified Day And Night Search And Rescue Crew For Eurocopter Dauphin AS365N3 Helicopters |

Date: 14th October 2009 Location: MMEA hangar, Subang Ten Maritime Malaysia Enforcement Agency (MMEA) pilots and crewmen received their certificates and wings for completing their training in “Day and Night Search and Rescue (SAR)” module for Eurocopter Dauphin AS 365N3 helicopters. The first such group to undergo this specialised one-year training, their qualification underlines MMEA’s capabilities to perform all missions day and night i.e. maritime surveillance, enforcement and SAR. After a year’s hard work, the trainees are now full-fledged “graduates” of this specialised training, and the first Malaysians to be qualified and certified as SAR competent crew on Dauphin AS 365N3 helicopters. The certificates were awarded by Rear Admiral Christian Le Roux, Deputy Director General, Operations of DCI NAVFCO. Also present were First Admiral Zammani Mod Amin, Director of Air Wing Operations., Capitaine de Vaisseau Pierre Delbrel,Defence Attache in the Embassy of Franc Captain (navy) Olivier Lenfant, Head International Relations French Defence Forces and Mr.Pierre Nardelli, President and Chief Executive Officer of Eurocopter Malaysia.
